Eid Fusion Festival

The EID Fusion Festival organised by the Friends of Ropner Park and the Community Welfare Trust gets bigger and better every year.

The event is sponsored by Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioners, the National Lottery and Stockton Council.

Crafts and Food

The Marquee wsas crowded all afternoon;

Asian Food was especially popular. For those who preferred a more British  style of cuisine, the Ropner Park cafe was very busy.

Bandstand entertainment

There was a full programme of entertainment on the bandstand including live music played by English and Asian bands.

Outside attractions

As well as the many outside stalls there were also rides and bouncy castles for the children and games and exercise for the more energetic.

 Art Project

 Artist Adrian Moule once again led the families in creating a Mandala. The theme this yea was “Peace”

 

Ropner Park  An ideal place for a family picnic

Police Cadet Volunteers   They were a great help on the Saturday preparing for the festival and also on the day itself.
