Stockton in Bloom

In recent years, Stockton has recieved many awards in the" Britain in Bloom" competitions.

Ropner Park is recognised as one of the most attractive parks in the north of England.

The Fish sculpture (above) is at the Marlborough Road end of the park.

Above left, a bed full of "wandering sailors".

The floral tribute to the ill fated S.S.Millpool sails serenely on its garden sea.

Too many Canada Geese can be a nuisance.

 

Sadly we have had to cease selling duck food because the numbers were increasing rapidly.

 

Here, a few Geese are landing on the park lake.
