The next event in Ropner Park will be the Spring Fair on Sunday 1st. April 2012
Friends of Ropner Park Christmas Fair
The Christmas Fair was a great success in every way. A crisp, clear day attracted a large crowd who seemed to enjoy themselves immensely. The Old Glory Jazz Band played until they had to be carried into the cafe to thaw out. St. Peter`s Choir brought carol sheets and were accompanied by a discordant but enraptured audience while the stallholders were kept busy selling their wares. We missed out on the photos of the Christmas dogs! Can anyone send us photos? In the meantime have a look at the images we did manage to capture.
We were very fortunate that the weather behaved itself for our "Harry Potter" themed Autumn Fair which was o[pened by Stockton`s mayor, Counc. Paul Baker. Ropner Park rocked to the band "Willow Creek" who dressed for the occasion and joined in the fun.
The owls were a star attraction. Thanks go to Kevin Wilkinson for these superb photos.
