There will be sideshows and stalls together with a performance by the Hurworth Concert Band.
This is a big band and comprises brass, reed and percussion players from Darlington, Durham, North Yorkshire and Teesside.
We can look forward to a lively and interesting concert which will include some well known pieces.

Remember the "Jubilee Picnic in the Park" last year.
By popular demand (yes honestly) we are repeating the picnic formula. The difference is that this time it coincides with "Our Big GIg" (formerly the Bandstand Marathon). There will be four hours of music and entertainment on the bandstand with lots of opportunities to join in the fun.
